The Functional Analyst provides support to the functional users of the college’s administrative software system.

Principal Accountabilities

Principal Accountabilities

Analyzes existing processes and procedures in the functional user departments, identifies problems and areas for improvement, and provides solutions and enhancements.

Designs, develops, and implements new processes and procedures in the functional user departments.

Researches and resolves administrative software issues.

Principal Accountabilities

Assists functional users with the use and maintenance of look-up tables, population selection lists, and running of processes and reports.

Trains functional users on the use of the college’s administrative software.

Works closely with college’s technology staff to test software upgrades and patches.

Develops end-user documentation and training materials.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and experience using one or more of these software products or similar Student Information System products: ellucian Banner, Degreeworks, Recruit, Portal, evisions Argos.

Minimum Qualifications

At least two years work experience in a college or university Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Business Office, Academic Affairs, or Technology department.
