Position Summary Information

Objective

To perform the day-to-day operations of the accounting instructional programs.

Essential Duties

Teaches courses as scheduled.

Maintain access to students through posted office hours and electronic communication.

Prepare and utilize a course syllabus and assessments for each course using guidelines established by the institution.

Provide grade evaluation on each student’s performance in a fashion and frequency required by the college.

Provide information that is requested from all faculty.

Demonstrate a positive and professional relationship with students, colleagues, and college administration.

Other duties as listed in the Faculty Handbook.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching field (Accounting) from an accredited college or university. Some teaching experience (either at the college or secondary level) required

Preferred Experience and Training

College teaching experience in accounting.
